As much as I preach the Golden Age of fully optimized health, we also need to face reality.
The future of preventative medicine in the United States is highly uncertain — while we have an abundance of novel agents and procedures, we don’t know what will happen to them over the next 3-5 years.
Therapeutic peptides are being more suppressed with each passing year.
Laws are being passed which make it infinitely harder to get a basic prescription for testosterone.

What Is The Dream Body Clinic?
Josh’s discovery of the Dream Body Clinic dates back 18 years ago when his father, a successful rocket scientist who was trying to build and grow his own aerospace company, came down with Lou Gehrig’s disease:
“Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a progressive neuromuscular disease. ALS is characterized by a progressive degeneration of motor nerve cells in the brain (upper motor neurons) and spinal cord (lower motor neurons).
When the motor neurons can no longer send impulses to the muscles, the muscles begin to waste away (atrophy), causing increased muscle weakness“
Way back when, the Internet wasn’t the resource we know it to be today.
Following the conventional route, Josh’s father would have been a guinea pig for studies where he would never know what he received.
But his research led him to a key discovery:
If someone suffered from HIV-induced muscle wasting, insurance would cover the testosterone and human growth hormone (HGH) you would use to counteract it.
However, the Anabolic Steroid Act would prevent this from becoming a reality:
“Congress passed the Anabolic Steroid Act of 1990 to respond to the increasing levels of illicit traffic in steroids. This Act identified anabolic steroids as a separate drug class and categorized over two dozen drugs as controlled substances.
The Act also gave a four-part definition of this drug class, which allowed for flexibility in controlling new anabolic steroids as they were synthesized.
In 2004, Congress enacted the Anabolic Steroid Control Act of 2004, which banned over-the-counter steroid precursors; increased penalties for making, selling, or possessing illegal steroid precursors; and provided funds for preventative educational efforts”
HGH is an anabolic but not a steroid, and the same can be said of testosterone… but the “Powers that Use to Be” will never see them this way.
Josh got into assisted senior care with the purpose of helping his dad by vowing to find a solution.
The next big breakthrough was reading about people who would outsource their medical care to other countries.
India was too far away but Mexico seemed like a real possibility.
Fast forward to 9.5 years ago and Josh meets an American doctor in Mexico with dual citizenship who had been running a successful fly-by program since the early 1990s.
This program was able to thrive thanks to a legal loophole within US law:
You can seek medical treatment abroad and return to the USA with up to 50 dose units of a medication.
(NOTE: If you’re returning anywhere else in the world, you can “take home” up to a 90-day supply of medications)
Additionally, hormones are not regulated in Mexico, and pharmaceuticals are regulated but not scheduled… unlike in the US.
After this American doctor left for a PhD program, Josh and his wife took over and their journey down the path of alternative health began.
It wasn’t until 6-7 years ago when Josh heard about mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and invested in a lab that could produce them to the highest of standards.
Billions of dollars and an entire decade would be needed before the FDA would ever approve MSCs as a treatment modality, so why bother fighting a broken sick-care system beyond repair?
Today, Dream Body Clinic is in the process of building the world’s largest stem cell clinic equipped with its own on-site lab and should be launched by the end of 2022.

Why Are Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) Treatments So Unique?
I won’t provide a Master’s-level thesis on MSCs, so let me briefly explain what they are.
There are numerous definitions, but I like this one best:
“cultured multipotent stem cells capable of renewing themselves and of differentiating in vitro under proper stimuli into a variety of tissues.
… such pericytes do not differentiate into different tissues in vivo; in contrast, they provide a regenerative microenvironment supplied by the immunomodulatory and trophic bioactive factors that they secrete.
Thus, MSCs do not differentiate when they are associated with the damaged tissue, but rather instruct tissue-specific progenitor cells responsible for the regeneration of injured tissue.”

Based on the first and last sentences of the quote above, it’s clear MSCs have extraordinary treatment potential:
“MSCs are used as a tool to treat degenerative changes in joints and to reconstruct bones and cartilage, and are used in plastic surgeries, aesthetic medicine, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine and nervous system diseases, cell transplantation, and in the repair of damaged musculoskeletal tissues
Due to the special properties of these cells, such as their rapid proliferation, high differentiation capacity, and the ability to migrate into the site of damage, new clinical applications are being tested”
But as Josh explained to me, these MSCs have a limited shelf life.
“MSCs are pericytes, which are a type of cell located in the inner walls of your capillaries.
We have tons of them as young kids, but once we reach the age of bone maturity (18 for women and 21 for men) we lose 90% of our capillaries as we’re not growing taller and don’t need as much blood flow.
We lose roughly 90% of our body’s naturally-produced MSCs as a result (read more about age-related changes of our vascular structure here)”
He went on to clarify why this account for the progressively slower rate of injury recovery with age.
“Think of MSCs as the manager on a construction site, guiding the healing and repairing processes in your body.
Suppose you have an elbow injury — the MSCs come off the capillaries and go to the site of injury. The first thing they do is get rid of scar tissue and target inflammation.
But once the injury is resolved, some MSCs do not find a capillary to call home again.
White blood cells (WBCs) can rush to the area instead of MSCs but they can only heal via fibrosis (i.e. scar tissue formation), which blocks the healing process.
Even if you pump as much HGH into your body as possible to increase IGF-1 production, you cannot fix the problem at its root if you do not get rid of the scar tissue.”
Going even further, Josh revealed why the site of MSC injection matters depending on what condition you want to treat.
“For joint, ligament and cartilage injuries, nothing beats a localized injection of MSCs directly at the site of injury as these areas do not get much blood flow.
For something like heart repair and heart regeneration, you need to do an IV injection.
The first pass of an IV injection goes directly through the heart and then through the lungs, which act like a filter and stop 70-80% of the MSCs from going through.
The good news is they don’t get wasted — during the 8 or so months they are “stuck”, these MSCs interact with other cells, target the immune system and reprogram it, lower bodily inflammation, and donate mitochondria to weaker cells via nanotubes.
In short, IV injections are best for muscular/organ damage.”
What you have in summation is a preventative treatment using nothing more than what your body already has but loses over time.
What Makes The MSCs From Dream Body Clinic So Unique?
There are numerous reasons why the MSCs cultivated by Dream Body Clinic are vastly superior to what you will get anywhere else in the world.
The MSCs are extracted in an ethical and effective manner.
Josh’s clinic extracts the MSCs from the placenta and umbilical cord tissue donated by healthy young women who have gone through a live C-section birth.
These women all agree to donate said tissue in advance and must undergo a rigorous screening process:
- Must be between ages 18-25 (younger undamaged tissue = faster replication of cells)
- Sexual partner history (more than 1 = disqualification)
- Vaccination history
- etc.
Those two sources (umbilical cord and placenta) are particularly important as you can culture many more MSCs out of them compared to a source such as bone marrow.
The MSCs are cultured for maximal health and viability.
Unlike in the United States, cultivation of stem cells (i.e. cell replication) is allowed in Mexico.
This allows Dream Body to get hundreds of millions of MSCs so quickly compared to a mediocre 10,000-100,000 you would get out of bone marrow.
The donated tissue is immediately taken to the lab, where the MSCs are isolated and then cultivated.
3-6 rounds of replication are done to produce the healthiest cells possible… although these cells can replicate infinitely, after Round 12 or so is when the MSCs lose their nice round shape and by extension their potency.
Unlike many other clinics that will attempt to cryogenically freeze the MSCs and thaw them out when they need to be used, Dream Body Clinic places the MSCs in a sodium lactate solution and administer them within 24 hours of the cultivation process.
They will survive over 3 days with 97% of the MSCs intact, and after that the total MSC count drops off steeply and the cells die very quickly.
Josh explains why his clinic does not freeze their MSCs:
“The big problem is that while freezing the MSCs keeps them preserved for shipment to the doctors who want them, the thawing process tends to kill cells.
Regenexx did several studies on this (here and here) showing many of the MSC solutions offered by labs and clinics barely have any MSCs in them, partly because the thawing process has to be overly slow for maximal MSC preservation.”
The MSCs are thoroughly tested and each patient receives a certification showing exactly what is being put inside their body.
Here are just some of the things you’ll get with your certificate, provided by flow cytometry form a 3rd party lab:
- Cell viability
- Cell count (alive and dead – at most you’ll have 100,000 dead cells for every couple million of live cells)
- Presence of retroviruses, microplasms, endotoxins, and more
- Presence of certain markers
- Absence of certain markers such as HLA (human leukocyte antigen), which would be a signal for your body to attack the MSCs
All MSCs are classified according to the standards of The International Society Of Stem Cell Research.
Any Side Effects Of MSCs To Worry About?
There are virtually no side effects of MSC treatment — they’ve been used safely for kids as young as 3 years old and seniors in their 90s.
A mild fever for 1-2 days is super rare, but can easily be remedied with a single Tylenol.
Likewise, a swollen joint is super rare but can also be treated with a single dose of an anti-inflammatory medication such as Prednisone.
All you’re doing is restoring your MSC levels to what you had when you were a young child.
As a caveat, there are two conditions where MSCs will not work:
- Treating genetic issues such as Type 1 Diabetes (although MSCs work very well for Type 2 Diabetes)
- Mechanical issues (ex. a giant bone spur that has to be surgically removed)

What Treatments Are Offered At Dream Body Clinic?
Dream Body Clinic offers numerous applications for their MSC treatments.
Their intra-articular injections (i.e. directly in the joint) can be used to treat injuries in the following areas:

They’ll do 50 million in just the knee, IVs of up to 300 million. There is a massive difference in numbers.
Other Non Stem Cell Treatments Offered
If you go to the homepage of Dream Body Clinic, you’ll notice they have a number of miscellaneous treatments available for patients:
- HGH (Pfizer’s Genotropin or Novo Nordisk’s Norditropin
- Testosterone injectoins
- Modafinil
- Cerebrolysin
While they don’t make any money off testosterone, they know how important it is for American citizens who have to do a lot of “doctor shopping” and jumping through hoops just to get the real stuff.
But where I really want to focus my attention on is HGH because it’s impossible to get anywhere in the world except for a few select places.
Yet thanks to Mexico’s lack of regulations, it is perfectly legal for you to get your hands on it.
While it’s mostly for weight loss and anti-aging, it’s also great for injuries, especially IF you start treatment upon being recently injured (otherwise stick to the MSCs for healing).
If you remember my monster article on growth hormone, I recommended a dose of 1-2 IU’s a day for anti-aging and life extension purposes.
And the two highest-quality formulations I recommended were the ones from Pfizer and Novo Nordisk.
Well, here’s the good news Josh told me for anybody who wants a long-term supply of HGH:
“The United States says you can bring back 50 “dose units” of any medication from Mexico, but “dose unit” is not strictly defined.
This allows them to consult each individual’s case and discern between ‘personal use’ and ‘intent to distribute’.
For HGH, 2 IU a day for up to a year (720 IU) total is just enough.
All of my patients have had zero problems with bringing this volume of HGH back to the United States”
