At the start of the show Curtis Fisher shared on his early relationship with food, and the health scare that he had which kick-started his weight loss journey. Curtis then went on to talk about the psychology behind losing the weight, and how losing weight won’t get rid of the demons in your head. Curtis went on to share his top tips for losing the weight and keeping it off. Later in the show we discussed the importance of getting your blood work done, and how TRT can help you in your battle against obesity. We finished off by discussing the importance of having a trainer who really knows what they’re doing and the gains you can see by implementing these things. Curtis also shared insights on;
- The psychology behind weight loss
- Body Dysmorphic Disorder
- The need to take accountability for what you are putting into your body
- The pros and cons of losing the weight
- The top tips for losing weight and keeping it off
- The importance of finding the right trainer
You must start taking accountability for what you are putting into your body by using things like calorie counter apps. Once you start doing this, along with exercise, you begin to see massive gains in your aims. If you are obese, your bloods are most likely going to be all over the place, so getting your blood work done, and using therapies such as TRT can be of massive help for when you are trying to lose the weight and keep it off. If you have a bad trainer you could spend 50 years going to the gym, doing the same things and see no improvement. Training is an art form, and you need to find a trainer who understands that there is a scientific process and application to it.
