Poor Health is the Default: Escaping the Ills of Modern Society w/Sal Di Stefano

The default for living in the West is poor health.

The ills of modern society aren’t just numerous, they are also entirely by design.

Sick, unhealthy people make for better consumers and they are much easier to manipulate.

There’s a mission to undo our personal sovereignty, and the greatest insulation is optimization and refusing to get fleeced by a system that wants to control us.

What do people get wrong about exercise?

Can muscle bolster us against the attacks of the system?

In this episode, I’m joined by personal trainer, co-founder and co-host of Mind Pump Media, Sal Di Stefano.

We talk about how to make yourself antifragile in a world that wants to break you.

The default for living in the West is poor health. It is weird and strange to be healthy, fit and mobile if you live in modern Western society. -Sal Di Stefano

Things We Learned

  1. How we got here
Is the food society is consuming destroying our bodies because we want easier, faster, enjoyable and palatable?
  2. Bolster yourself to be sovereign
How do we move our bodies in a way that adapts to the problems and challenges of modern society?
  3. How to avoid overtraining
What’s the difference between a workout that’s optimal and a workout you can tolerate?
  4. Worshiping science is dangerous
Whether we know it or not, we worship something, how do we make sure we’re not worshiping something that wants to manipulate us?
