The fat loss agent SLU-PP-332 has been on the market for just over a year.

Since then, a lot has happened.

Biohackers were experimenting with the compound in isolation.

Then they were adding in other agents such as Cardarine (GW501516) and AOD-9604 into the mix.

Some people were even using SLU-PP-332 alongside another mitochondria uncoupler known as BAM-15.

But we’ve come across a brand new discovery that I AM certain will transform this compound from a mere research chemical into the next body recomposition breakthrough.

And all you have to do is simply up your dose several fold.

This short yet thorough article will outline what’s changed and what you should expect from SLU-PP-332 going forward.

Why Everybody (Me Included) Dosed SLU-PP-332 Wrong

In my original article about SLU-PP-332, I recommended a daily dose of 500mcg split into two even doses.

And recommended going as high as 1,500mcg daily in extreme cases.

It turns out myself and several biohackers were MASSIVELY under-dosing this compound, and here’s why…

If you read the papers from Cyrielle Billon, the lead researcher behind SLU-PP-332 who is investigating estrogen-related receptor (ERR) agonists in the treatment of various pathological disease states, there is no ambiguity about the doses used in her mice studies.

As an example, her 2024 “A Synthetic ERR Agonist Alleviates Metabolic Syndrome” paper had mice injected intraperitoneally with 50 mg/kg of SLU-PP-332 twice daily.

(An intraperitoneal injection refers to an injection done in the body cavity so a drug’s effects will take place far quicker and observe said effects in the organs located within the body cavity)

This would come out to 100 mg/kg in a mouse.

But how do we translate this into what the dose should be for humans?

You would calculate something called the human equivalent dose (HED), defined as a dose whereby the effects seen in a human subject are equivalent to what has been observed in a nonhuman subject.

The calculations for doing this can get incredibly complex and rely on numerous factors such as pharmacokinetic data, body surface area, and the animal in question.

For the sake of simplicity, we’ll use a back-of-the-envelope calculation as provided by the table below:

So if we have a mouse dose of 100 mg/kg, we look at the table and divide it by 12.3 to get an HED of 8.13mg/kg.

Assuming someone weights 80kg, do the math and you would get a total daily dose of ~650mg.

Even at the higher doses we were using prior to this, you’re looking at a 100-fold difference or greater when you’re talking about milligrams (mg) versus micrograms (mcg).

Keep in mind we’re still waiting for more comprehensive pharmacokinetic data telling us vital information such as the half-life and bioavailability, which I couldn’t find in any of the published studies to date investigating SLU-PP-332.

(I personally think the oral bioavailability is somewhere lower than 50%… if it were on the far lower end of 2-5%, I would have required multiple GRAMS of SLU-PP-332 to experience the benefits you’re about to see later in this article)

Why and how nearly everybody got this wrong?ย 

Maybe it was a matter of cost production among some of the people synthesizing the raw material.

Maybe it was just a classic example of the telephone game where information gets rapidly shared without further critical examination.

It happens to the best of us.

No harm and no foul so long as we are willing to change our minds in the face of new evidence and information.

What Does High-Dose SLU-PP-332 Feel Like?

Being Jay Campbell, I became the guinea pig and ran 400-800mg of SLU-PP-332 for 3 weeks straight, one dose in the morning and one dose later in the afternoon.

And here’s what myself and Bryan experienced in addition to the health benefits I reported in my first article about SLU-PP-332:

  • Improved sleep
  • Increased strength in the form of more firepower and torque generation
  • Better vascularity and cardiovascular function
  • More muscular density and leanness
  • Higher energy levels, which can be best described as ‘cellular’ energy instead of the jittery energy you get from something like caffeine
  • Ability to train harder and for longer without getting tired
  • No elevation of heart rate
  • Less time needed for resting periods between works sets while training to positive muscle failure

You’re producing ATP at such a vast rate compared to your baseline because your mitochondria are now operating at maximum efficiency.

I’d even go as far as to say this is equivalent to 25-50mg of Primobolan or 25-50 mg of Anavar but without the side effects (my blood work may say otherwise).

After 3 weeks of usage, I look like this (mind you, my diet is not even close to being on point due to Documentary filming and travel)

How To Use High-Dose SLU-PP-332

Here are my lab rat notes for what’s worked best for me so far:

  • As long as you get your early morning dose in, it will work throughout the day
  • No need to take it with a fat-soluble meal for better absorption — just take it and get on with your day
  • Take it 8 weeks on and 8 weeks offย 
  • Can be used during a cutting phase or a bulking phase
  • Make sure you replenish, recharge or repair your Mitochondria with specific supplements post cycle

The last recommendation is important as barring certain exceptions, you never want to be on anything forever.

Over time, your body will build up a tolerance to SLU-PP-332 and treat it as a foreign object it wants to get rid of.

I suspect there will be some upregulation of the enzyme responsible for breaking down SLU-PP-332 over time.

There’s also the fact that when you take anything making your mitochondria more efficient, there is the potential for free radical and reactive oxygen species (ROS) formation.

So you’ll want your antioxidant agents and ROS scavenger agents at hand, especially during your “off” cycle.

I’m talking about things like Carbon 60, pomegranate and other select fruits, Urothilin A, Vitamin C, and so on.

It also wouldn’t hurt to stack SLU-PP-332 with the mitochondrial peptide SS-31 for this very reason.

Two Final Thoughts About High-Dose SLU-PP-332

First, I would highly encourage anybody new to SLU-PP-332 to experiment with this compound and ONLY this compound without changing everything else.ย 

As a biohacker myself, I am guilty of taking multiple compounds simultaneously to experience the full scale of total health optimization.

However, this does not make for the best conditions to evaluate a single compound in isolation.

You always want to use something with the intention of seeing how that one thing works when every other variable is removed and/or controlled for.

Many biohackers I knew specifically avoided making changes to their diet – and even sometimes dropped cardio altogether – to see if SLU-PP-332 was a true exercise mimetic.

(Resistance training was kept as foregoing it for 6+ weeks is an unreasonable ask)

Second, SLU-PP-332 is still in research chemical status.

Yes, it is true we are lacking human data and there is more we don’t know than what we do know.

For example, we don’t have any clue about its long-term effects for better or for worse.

But history shows bodybuilders have always been ahead of the curve when it comes to discovering and bringing new Golden Age agents to the spotlight.

And there’s many reasons why SLU-PP-332 hasn’t been bought out by a Big Pharma company if the preclinical research looks so promising.

Maybe it interferes with one of their cash cows?

Maybe they can’t see how it can treat a profitable disease state (keep in mind their interests are far and removed from optimizing human health in already lean and active individuals)?

Who knows.

Until we get more definitive answers, I AM going to continue using high-dose SLU-PP-332 for the foreseeable future.
